Beaucoup de complexité dans ce beau XO qu’il faut prendre le temps d’apprivoiser pour lui permettre de se livrer entièrement : une mise à nu lente et progressive qui ne déçoit pas. Le nez est tendre, chaud, porté sur le caramel, le chocolat, la vanille et la figue, avec une note florale rafraichissante (jasmin). La bouche retrouve le chocolaté avec un fond de cannelle. BACHE GABRIELSEN XO
Une forte personnalité dans ce cognac ambivalent qui déroute agréablement par sa réserve et ses effets de surprise. Le fruit sec – abricot notamment – et l’épice y mette une douceur presque moelleuse que ponctuent en pointillé un sec boisé de chêne et des notes poivrées. La longueur est bonne. L’équilibre l’est tout autant. Très plaisant.

MEUKOW ESPRIT DE FAMILLE
La robe est brillante, jaune à reflets bruns et or. Le nez, très prégnant, précis, furète dans les sous-bois, avec des notes exquises de champignon, un fumet de truffe, de la noisette pour se développer ensuite vers une inventivité très aguicheuse… chocolat, vieux cuir, épices, compote. Ce bouquet capiteux et suave se prolonge en bouche de la manière la plus souple qui se puisse faire. La finale ne dément rien. Extra.
